The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen began broadcasting in July 2023. Based on the hugely popular manga whose circulation had passed 70 million copies at the time of the release announcement, it continues the fierce story of curses.

The season first explores Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, the school days of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, revealing the past behind the separation hinted at in the theatrical film. It then returns to the timeline following the first season with the Shibuya Incident.

On October 31, a Curtain suddenly descends around Shibuya Station, crowded with Halloween revellers, trapping large numbers of civilians. Gojo heads alone into Shibuya to bring the situation under control, but it is a trap laid by Geto, Mahito and the other curse users and cursed spirits.

Jujutsu High students including Itadori, Fushiguro and Kugisaki gather in Shibuya alongside the sorcerers, as a battle on an unprecedented scale is about to begin. The devastating tale surrounding curses starts turning once more.
