Kaigan Dori no Nekomimi Tantei Blu-ray

A buddy story for the Reiwa era, with pet detectives! Two investigators race through the Shonan breeze in a story of the miracles that pets can bring about.

Set against the beautiful streets of Enoshima, Kaigan Dori no Nekomimi Tantei brings cats, turtles and guinea pigs into a tale of lively conversation and friendship between two men.

Teru Nekozuka is searching the Shonan beach for a missing pet cat named Mimi. Kosuke Saruwatari runs a pet detective agency in Shonan. One day, Nekozuka visits Saruwatari’s office to ask for help finding Mimi, and an unexpected turn of events leads them to search together. Saruwatari finds Mimi, bringing happiness to the Suzumata couple. Nekozuka gently watches over the couple and their cat, saying that Mimi is a cat who saves all sorts of people.

But Nekozuka has no money to pay for the investigation, so he must work to repay the fee. At that moment, a boy named Yuta Miura arrives at Saruwatari’s pet detective agency. Saruwatari sends him away because he is a child, provoking Nekozuka’s opposition.

Yuta’s parents are in divorce mediation. Nekozuka’s own parents divorced, and he cannot see the boy as a stranger. Helping Yuta, the novice pet detective Nekozuka sets out to find the boy’s cat, Gonta, while Saruwatari warmly watches over him from behind the scenes. When Gonta is found, a miracle happens for the Miura couple, Nekozuka and Saruwatari.
