Kingdom Collector's Blu-ray Box brings together the first four live-action films directed by Shinsuke Sato: Kingdom, Kingdom 2: Far and Away, Kingdom 3: The Flame of Destiny and Kingdom 4: Return of the Great General. The eight-disc set pairs each feature with its own bonus Blu-ray, for approximately 544 minutes of films plus supplements. It is housed in a special digitray and outer case, with four booklets of 56, 48, 42 and 40 pages.

In Kingdom, war orphans Shin and Hyou dream of becoming great generals in the divided China of 245 BCE. Hyou is recruited into the royal palace, but a coup brings him back to Shin mortally wounded. Following his friend's final instructions, Shin encounters Ei Sei, the young king of Qin, whose resemblance to Hyou reveals the purpose behind that recruitment. Their shared struggle begins a journey toward reclaiming the throne and changing the country.

Far and Away moves from palace conflict to Shin's first battlefield. Six months later, Wei invades Qin, and Shin joins a five-person infantry unit with Bihei, Bitou, Takukei and the mysterious Kyoukai. At the Dakan Plains, Qin's Duke Hyou faces Wei's general Gokei, while Shin's inexperienced unit must survive a disastrous position and a seemingly impossible charge.

The Flame of Destiny follows a fresh invasion by Zhao. The legendary general Ouki returns to command, while Ei Sei's earlier escape from captivity and his bond with Shika reveal the conviction behind his ambition. Shin is entrusted with the hundred-man Hi Shin Unit and a mission that tests whether he can become more than a talented fighter.

Return of the Great General continues the Battle of Bayou. Houken's sudden attack places Shin and his unit in mortal danger. As they struggle to survive, Ouki recognises that another formidable enemy is directing events: the strategist Riboku. The confrontation draws together the past between Ouki and Houken and the future Shin hopes to inherit.

Kento Yamazaki leads the films as Shin, with Ryo Yoshizawa as Ei Sei and Hyou, Kanna Hashimoto as Karyoten and Takao Osawa as Ouki. The ensemble includes Masami Nagasawa, Nana Seino, Etsushi Toyokawa, Anne, Yuki Yamada, Koji Kikkawa and Shun Oguri.

The first film's feature disc includes two making-of and interview programmes, Beyond the Scene, three trailers, five television spots, three web commercials and two promotional videos. Its bonus disc adds visual commentary and event footage covering previews, opening day, success celebrations, a pre-release event and the world-premiere red carpet.

Far and Away includes a super-teaser, a Kyoukai promotional video, four trailers, six television spots and two Beyond the Scene programmes. Its bonus disc contains making-of footage, interviews, a discussion with Yamazaki, Seino and producer Shinzo Matsuhashi, and three stage-event recordings.

The Flame of Destiny includes a super-teaser, six trailers and five television spots. Its bonus disc explores the Hi Shin Unit and Shika portions of the production, with cast interviews, conversations involving Yamazaki, Yoshizawa and Matsuhashi and between Osawa and Sato, plus the world premiere, pre-release event, opening-day greeting and a success-celebration event.

Return of the Great General includes five trailers, three television spots and two promotional videos. Its bonus disc adds making-of footage, a retrospective discussion with Yamazaki, Osawa, Sato and Matsuhashi, three stage-event recordings, New York Asian Film Festival footage, Beyond the Scene Talk and an interview with photographer Osamu Kikuchi.

All four features provide Japanese audio and Japanese accessibility subtitles. The first film includes DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, DTS stereo and Japanese audio description; the following three also include Dolby Atmos/TrueHD. All four bonus discs use Japanese DTS stereo. The discs and booklet contents reuse the earlier individual releases, with a refreshed cover for the first film's booklet.
