Kiteretsu Daihyakka Daizenshu BEST traces the musical history of the beloved television anime based on Fujiko F. Fujio's work. Across two CDs, the collection brings together successive opening and ending themes, character songs and rare recordings.
Familiar favourites such as Hajimete no Chuu and Suimin Busoku sit alongside Kiteretsu Daihyakka and Korosuke Machi wo Yuku, the themes from the first animated adaptation, a ninety-minute television special broadcast in 1987. Character songs and karaoke versions extend the selection beyond the main television themes.
The additional recordings include alternative arrangements and a long version of Korosuke ROCK, a new arrangement and acoustic-guitar performance of Hajimete no Chuu, and a rare version sung by Anshin Grandpapa. A full-colour gallery in the booklet revisits original record and CD sleeves, offering a visual history alongside the music. The two discs contain twenty-eight tracks.
