Koisuru Keigo 24ji Season 2 Blu-ray Box

Hikaru Iwamoto and Mai Shiraishi return in the second season of Koisuru Keigo 24ji, an action romantic comedy that combines bodyguard assignments, an unfolding mystery and a relationship struggling to move forward. This four-Blu-ray box contains all eight episodes across three main-program discs and one bonus disc.

Tatsunosuke Kitazawa's employer, RACCO Security, merges with Koala Security to form Raccoala Security. The new team has difficulty finding common ground, and incoming team leader Chihaya Mikumo is particularly confrontational toward Tatsunosuke. A request arrives from Kajihara, a former colleague of Tatsunosuke's late police-officer father who now works at a security school. Kajihara once arrested university student Sei Igarashi in a serial-murder investigation, but Igarashi has been acquitted and is about to be released. The public attention has brought abuse and death threats, so Kajihara asks the team to protect him as an act of apology for the wrongful arrest. Tatsunosuke is appointed to lead the assignment despite Chihaya's objections. As protection begins, the team discovers that Igarashi's supposedly secret location may have been leaked.

Meanwhile, Tatsunosuke and lawyer Rika Kishimura have admitted their feelings, but his junior colleague Minato Hara is astonished to learn that their romance has barely progressed. Rika decides to study in London. Tatsunosuke tries to hide his unease and support her, arranging a meal together before her departure as professional and personal pressures converge.

The bonus disc includes the production press conference and a Season 2 making-of collection covering the romantic scenes and security missions. An original booklet is included. Alongside Iwamoto and Shiraishi, the cast comprises Joichiro Fujiwara, Hiroki Konno, Omi Natsuki, Itsuji Itao, Yuki Matsushita and Riko Narumi. Snow Man performs the theme song Naughty Angel. The main episodes feature Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and Japanese subtitles for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
