Last Mile Deluxe Edition Blu-ray

Last Mile turns the everyday movement of parcels into a race to prevent a national catastrophe. On the eve of Black Friday, a box delivered by the global shopping service DailyFast explodes. Further incidents reveal a chain of bombings, leaving investigators and warehouse staff to find the remaining devices without shutting down a distribution network on which modern life depends.

Hikari Mitsushima plays Elena Funado, newly appointed manager of a vast logistics centre, while Masaki Okada plays team manager Ko Nashimoto. Across four urgent days, they must work out who planted the bombs, what the attacker wants and where the next parcel might be. As the connections become clearer, the film exposes pressures and hidden relationships within the system keeping goods in motion.

Director Ayuko Tsukahara, screenwriter Akiko Nogi and producer Junko Arai reunite for an original suspense story set in the shared world of Unnatural and MIU404. Cast members from both series return alongside the film's leads, with Dean Fujioka, Shohei Hino and Sadao Abe among the ensemble.

The deluxe edition includes the feature Blu-ray and two bonus Blu-rays containing approximately 285 minutes of supplementary material. Making-of features explore Last Mile and the returning Unnatural and MIU404 teams, while interviews and the Premium Talk programmes bring the cast together to discuss the production. Recorded premiere appearances, a cast relay, a television special and trailers complete the video material. Tsukahara, Nogi and Arai also provide an audio commentary, and the included 24-page booklet contains Nogi's noginote liner notes.

The 128-minute feature offers Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio in 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo, plus Japanese audio description and Japanese subtitles. The commentary is presented in Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0, while the bonus discs use Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 without subtitles. The Blu-rays are region-free.
