Love Begins in the World of If Blu-ray Box

A year after moving from a technical role into sales, Akihito Kano still feels out of place. His expertise cannot make up for his difficulty expressing himself, and a past incident has strained his relationship with talented colleague Seiji Ohgami. Admiration and insecurity leave Akihito unable to bridge the distance between them. On a night of the full moon, he discovers an old shrine mirror said to reveal the person its viewer longs to become. He wishes he could earn Ohgami's respect and smile at him naturally, then finds himself in a parallel world where that confident version of him already exists.

Friendly colleagues and Ohgami's warm attention make this new life seem ideal. Yet the more comfortable Akihito becomes, the more he has to confront his real feelings and recognize what he overlooked in his original world. Kotaro Daigo and Daisuke Nakagawa lead this adaptation of Sachi Umino's novel, joined by Yuki Hayama, Sojiro Yoshimura, Mamoru Hagiwara, Kazunari Tosa and Motoki Kobayashi.

The three-Blu-ray box contains all six episodes, totaling 144 minutes, and a bonus disc with making-of footage, an episode-one visual commentary featuring Daigo and Nakagawa, the completion-announcement talk event, outtakes, deleted scenes and a trailer collection. A sixteen-page booklet is included. The main program has Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio and no subtitles.
