Love Flops Anime

In the season of dancing cherry blossoms, five winds of love blow through. An astonishing original television anime from studio Passione begins.

Asahi Kashiwagi is an ordinary high-school boy, the kind you might spot whenever you look around the streets. Without questioning his unchanging daily routine, he sets off for school and encounters a string of mishaps. Strangely, they follow the odd fortune-telling segment he happened to see on television before leaving home.

Amid one mishap after another, Asahi has disastrous first encounters with five girls. Exhausted in body and mind, he finally reaches school, only to discover that those same five girls have arrived as transfer students or a new teacher. He desperately tries to hide his face, but cannot conceal himself for long. Yoshio Ijuin, who calls himself Asahi's best friend, asks about his relationship with the five. As Asahi spends time with them, they realize that their encounters were all misunderstandings, and gradually begin to feel more comfortable together.

After school, Asahi opens his shoe locker on his way home and finds a love letter. With no sender's name, it says that someone will be waiting beneath the cherry tree behind the school building. This too matches the fortune. Determined to find out what is happening, Asahi heads for the tree. In the season of dancing cherry blossoms, a tender, bittersweet story of youth and five currents of love begins.

This second Blu-ray box contains episodes seven through twelve. It comes with a slipcase and digipak featuring new illustrations by character designer Kazuyuki Ueda, a special booklet, a heroine character card and a special sticker. Extras include audio commentary, creditless opening and ending sequences, web previews, promotional videos and television commercials.

Ryota Osaka voices Asahi Kashiwagi, Miku Ito voices Aoi Izumisawa, Ayana Taketatsu voices Amelia Irving, Rie Takahashi voices Ilya Ilyukhin, Hisako Kanemoto voices Bai Mongfa, Marika Kono voices Karin Istel, Jun Fukuyama voices Yoshio Ijuin and Shiori Izawa voices Lovelin.
