Love Is Indivisible by Twins Anime

We can never remain just childhood friends. A twin romantic comedy about first love growing complicated!

It seems familiar, yet unlike anything you have seen! Three awkward people weave a fresh kind of love-triangle story. The original is the popular light novel Love Is Indivisible by Twins, published by KADOKAWA's Dengeki Bunko, with a well-received manga adaptation serialised in Comic Dengeki Daioh g. Jun Shirasaki and the Jinguji sisters, Rumi and Naori, are childhood friends who have grown up almost as family. Older sister Rumi looks boyish but thinks like a romantic young maiden, while younger sister Naori is a subculture enthusiast with a cute exterior and a temperament that can be a minefield. Jun wavers between two girls whose faces are alike but personalities are completely opposite. Their awkward, fresh love-triangle story began its television anime broadcast in July 2024.

The original first-production announcement includes lavish extras such as an audio picture drama as a video extra. An outer case with new illustrations by original illustrator Almic and the anime staff, a designed digipak and a special booklet complete the announced specification. These pressing-dependent extras are not guaranteed. CDJapan reports that first-production extras are no longer available.

Story Jun Shirasaki and the Jinguji sisters, Rumi and Naori, have been childhood friends since they were small, growing up almost as family. Rumi, the older sister, looks boyish but thinks romantically. Naori, the younger sister, looks cute but is a subculture enthusiast whose true temperament can be a minefield. Their faces are alike, yet they are complete opposites.

Although Jun has developed romantic feelings at some point, their friendship continues without any defined romantic relationship. Then Rumi asks, “Would you like to go out with me? How about giving it a try?” Those words lead the three into an uneven love triangle.
