LOVE STAGE!! Complete Blu-ray Box

The person he fell in love with was a boy. The sparkling celebrity-meets-otaku boys' love comedy arrives in a Blu-ray box! This much-discussed romantic comedy, also adapted into a live-action film, brings together original writer Eiki Eiki and manga artist Taishi Zaou. Eiki is also known in the media as entertainer DAIGO's sister and former Prime Minister Takeshita's granddaughter, and works on manga stories and storyboard advice. Popular artist Zaou is known for Princess Princess, which itself became an anime and live-action drama. Their collaboration LOVE STAGE!! won a broad fan base. With a live-action film announced for October 2020, the television anime originally broadcast in 2014 receives its long-awaited box edition.

Eleven episodes in one box: all ten television episodes plus the previously unbroadcast OVA Chotto Janakutte, meaning Not Just a Little, originally included with a limited-edition manga volume. Video extras are included as well.

A wealth of specially created extras includes a new manga by Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou, a box with new artwork by Zaou, a case with new anime artwork by character designer Yoko Ito, and a re-included drama CD depicting events after the anime. Regular package contents are the new manga within a special booklet; Zaou's illustrated box; Ito's illustrated case; the LOVE STAGE!! Drama Edition CD; the special booklet; and textless opening and ending. The drama CD contains the same material as the disc supplied with the original manga's Volume 6 limited edition released in October 2015.

Story: The person he fell in love with was a boy. A glittering celebrity-and-otaku romantic comedy begins! His father is a singer, his mother an actress, and his older brother the vocalist of the hugely popular band The Crusherz. Born into this extremely famous show-business family, Izumi Sena is its one ordinary member: a thoroughly otaku university student. He loves Magical Girl Lala-Lulu and works hard toward becoming a manga artist. One day he cannot turn down an appearance in a television commercial, and must conceal his identity by dressing as a woman. At the shoot he reunites after ten years with Ryoma Ichijo, now an enormously popular young actor. But what will happen next?
