Maaya Sakamoto opens Kioku no Toshokan, her eleventh full album, with a concept that follows Kyo Dake no Ongaku. Four tie-in singles join eight newly recorded songs: Sumire from Deaimon, Kotoba ni Dekinai from the third season of Ascendance of a Bookworm, Mada Tooku ni Iru from The Fire Hunter and un_mute from REVENGER.
The Library of Memories is a repository that manages the memories of people around the world. A boy who collects discarded memories there, acting on a whim, returns several boxes of memories to their owners' windowsills. What music spills out at the moment those boxes are opened? Sakamoto shared this original story and its imagery with the creators who wrote the eight new recordings.
An unusually varied creative team gathers around that idea: Yu Arauchi of cero, Daisuke Kawaguchi, Shigeru Kishida of Quruli, Katsutoshi Kitagawa of ROUND TABLE, Shohei Koga of Yourness, Shintaro Sakamoto, Kohei Dojima, tricot, hiyune of chilldspot and Anna Takeuchi. Twelve songs form this standard-edition CD.
