Walkure's W encore captures all forty-three songs performed during Final Live Tour 2023 - Last Mission, held across Tokyo, Osaka and Chiba from May 20 to June 4. This three-CD live album preserves the music of the largest arena tour in Macross history.

Discs one and two follow the final Day 6 performance at Makuhari Messe. Disc three gathers songs absent from that last show, including NEO STREAM, Ai Oboete Imasu ka and Yokoso! Walkure World e. Performed only in Osaka and omitted from the earlier tour video releases, those three recordings appear in a commercial release here for the first time.

New packaging artwork is by Macross Delta original character designer Chisato Mita of CAPCOM. JUNNA, Minori Suzuki, Kiyono Yasuno, Nao Toyama and Nozomi Nishida sing as Mikumo, Freyja, Kaname, Reina and Makina.
