Story — Magical Princess Minky Momo The dream kingdom of Fenarinarsa once existed on Earth. As people gradually lost their dreams and hopes, however, it drifted away from the world. The king finds this unbearably lonely. He therefore sends his daughter, Minky Momo, to Earth. Whenever Momo gives people dreams on Earth, a jewel called a Happy Tear appears in the royal crown. Once twelve have gathered, Fenarinarsa can return to Earth. To restore people's dreams and hopes, Princess Minky Momo of Fenarinarsa travels with Sindbook, Mocha and Pipil, using magic that turns her into an adult to help dreams come true.

Story — Magical Princess Minky Momo: Hold On to Your Dreams Marinarsa, where Momo lives, remains submerged beneath the sea. If someone of royal blood travels to the surface and brings people dreams and hopes, the sunken kingdom can rise above the water again. The king therefore sends his only daughter to the surface under the name Minky Momo, accompanied by the monkey Charmo, the dog Cookbook and the little bird Rupipi. Momo herself, however, has come to Earth more because she wants to play in the wide world outside than because she wants to keep people from losing their dreams. Thus begin the adventurous days of the dream kingdom's second Princess Minky Momo.
