映画 #マンホール 豪華版
Question everything you see. Ninety-nine unpredictable minutes. Something is wrong with this hole. Yuto Nakajima, star of Pink and Gray, breaks new ground as an actor, giving an intense performance as a protagonist whose moment of greatest happiness turns into a fall down a manhole. Director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri of My Man and original-story creator and screenwriter Michitaka Okada of the Masquerade Hotel series devise a wholly original story. A highly accomplished man whose life has fallen apart faces a desperate situation and uses social media to attempt an extreme escape. A fresh crisis arrives every, and an astonishing conclusion awaits. The film was officially invited to the seventy-third Berlin International Film Festival. Nakajima and Kumakiri attracted attention when they appeared on its red carpet. This is historical festival information.
Story Shunsuke Kawamura is a capable man with the best sales results. On the night before his wedding to the company president's daughter, he becomes drunk at a surprise party in Shibuya. On his way home, he carelessly falls through a manhole. Waking at the bottom of the hole late at night, Kawamura finds his leg deeply injured and cannot move as he wants. He checks his smartphone for his location, but the GPS malfunctions. He contacts the police, who do not take him seriously. He manages to ask his ex-girlfriend, the only person he can reach, for help, but then a suspicion arises: "Could this place actually be somewhere other than Shibuya?" Believing someone has set him up, he creates a social-media account called Manhole Woman and asks people to identify his location and rescue him. He manipulates internet users excitedly searching for the culprit. Very little time remains before his wedding. Can he climb back up from this rock bottom?
