marasy celebrates ten years of Amatsukitsune, his Kagamine Rin song about a fox that becomes a shooting star. First released in 2012, it led to the sequels Kogitsune no Ran and Amaterase, appeared in Hatsune Miku Project DIVA and became a novel written by marasy himself in 2015.
The pianist returns to the story with two new songs and fresh arrangements, following his work for Project SEKAI and Snow Miku. Kagamine Rin performs alongside contributions from Shota Horie, also known as kemu, Jin, KOUICHI, Hitorie drummer Yumao, drummer Yuji Yono, Vocaloid editor bibi and shakuhachi player Akihisa Kominato.
Piano and band versions explore different sides of the three connected songs. Special guest Yoko Takahashi sings Amatsukitsune to close the ten-track album, while Shinjinrui and KITSUNE Patissiere add new material to the anniversary collection.
