Masamune-kun's Revenge Animation

The revenge romantic comedy about the former chubby boy once called Pig's Foot returns! The hugely popular Masamune-kun's Revenge comes back for its eagerly awaited second anime season.

Eight years ago, Masamune Makabe was overweight and unremarkable when Aki Adagaki, known as the Cruel Princess, rejected him mercilessly. To take revenge, he slimmed down dramatically, changed his surname and returned transformed into a handsome young man. His ultimate plan is to make her fall for him, then reject her. He approaches Aki passionately, gradually opening her heart. As the seasons pass, their cultural festival is beset by all sorts of unexpected incidents, finally ending with a kiss between Masamune and Aki.

More time passes, and the stage for his revenge moves to France on their school trip. The romantic atmosphere of Paris sets Masamune's heart racing. Aki, meanwhile, says something laden with meaning: she has been thinking for a long time that they should sit down and talk properly. Her unexpected words leave him shaken. Their encounter with Muriel Besson, a French girl who dreams of becoming a manga artist, may bring another change to their relationship!

Six years after the first season aired in 2017, the well-received series returns with even greater energy. The cultural festival gives way to the school trip, while the characters' shifting feelings and Masamune's revenge head towards their conclusions. The character designs have been boldly refined, giving the familiar characters renewed appeal and making the new season's fresh start unmistakable. Keep watching the self-proclaimed handsome Masamune and the girls around him!

The reversible jacket uses a new illustration created specially for this Blu-ray release, with Aki Adagaki featured on the first volume. An accompanying booklet, audio commentary and video extras round out the edition. Product specifications, prices and included material may change without notice.
