Mega Man X DiVE Illustration Collection explores the game's characters through main illustrations, 3D models, setting drawings, pose studies and skill icons. X and Zero appear alongside original characters such as RiCO and iCO, with collaboration characters omitted from the offline game also represented. The cast draws on the original Mega Man series as well as Mega Man X, Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Zero.

Boss artwork and weapon designs broaden the archive. A new cover by Keisuke Mizuno, developer comments and interviews accompany illustrations that were produced but never implemented in the game. Supervised by Capcom and published by Genkosha, this Japanese-language collection contains 256 pages.
