Kento Kosaka works as an editor at the manga magazine Comic Boon. His devotion to work earns him the nickname Mister Risk Avoidance, but it comes from a fear of having free time.

Kento once hoped to become a novelist and gave up after a setback. He still secretly longs to write a novel, even as he continues running away from his true feelings.

One day, Yuzu Fukada, Comic Boon’s popular idol manga artist, announces that she is suspending her manga without consulting the editorial department. Kento goes to see her in person to persuade her to reconsider.

Worn down by public opinion online, Yuzu has lost her motivation to draw. Kento’s warm support encourages her to open up a little. To give her a change of pace, they begin taking walks together. Through these daily walks, Yuzu comes to trust him completely, and suddenly turns up at his home.
