Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Anime

Maid plus dragon equals Dragon Maid: delightfully inept and adorably easy to win over! The first season of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, produced by Kyoto Animation, finally comes to a Blu-ray box. This release brings back the television anime with all thirteen television episodes, extra episode fourteen and the bonus Kobayashi's Something Dragon videos.

Tohru, a beautiful girl in a maid outfit, suddenly appears before Kobayashi, a tired office worker living alone. With her horns and tail, she is unmistakably a dragon girl. Tohru says she has come after receiving an invitation from a drunken Kobayashi, and before Kobayashi knows it, Tohru is working as her maid!

Maid plus dragon equals Dragon Maid: delightfully inept and adorably easy to win over! This comedy of exchanges between dragon girls and humans is mostly warm and gentle, with an occasional dark edge.

The three-disc box contains all thirteen television episodes and extra episode fourteen. Video extras include all seven Kobayashi's Something Dragon shorts, while audio extras include cast commentary and staff commentary. These extras match those included with the original television-series Blu-ray and DVD releases. Japanese subtitles are included.

The cast features Mutsumi Tamura as Kobayashi, Yuki Kuwahara as Tohru, Maria Naganawa as Kanna, Yuki Takada as Elma, Minami Takahashi as Lucoa, Daisuke Ono as Fafnir and Yuichi Nakamura as Makoto Takiya. Original first-press copies included an illustrated digipak and memorial case, together with a special booklet compiling manga and other material from the original television Blu-ray and DVD bonus booklets. These physical extras depend on the copy supplied. Contents are subject to change without notice.
