GODZILLA Movies

The giant moth flying at Mach 3, or Godzilla, a missile-armed heavy tank? A battle of the century shakes the skies, land and sea.

A gigantic egg washed ashore at a peaceful fishing village belongs to Mothra. Godzilla suddenly emerges from reclaimed land, destroys cities and advances toward the egg. At last, Mothra flies in to protect it.

Mothra’s lifelike movements, controlled with fine wires, and Godzilla’s suit performance bring their close combat vividly to life. The exploits of Mothra’s twin larvae also leave a lasting impression.

This remastered edition includes an audio commentary and archival supplements exploring the film and its special effects. They encompass the Champion Festival release, behind-the-scenes and unused footage, trailers, still images, model-making material, battle sketches and the Mothra Attack Tokyo short and illustrated-book material. Some supplements reproduce those included on the earlier Blu-ray.
