Motohiro Hata MTV Unplugged Blu-ray
秦 基博/MTV Unplugged:Hata Motohiro
Motohiro Hata's first MTV Unplugged performance comes to home video. On December 11, he released Copernicus, his first original album in approximately four years.
Featuring leading artists from around the world, MTV Unplugged has built a history as a source of inventive, individual acoustic performances. Hata captivated an audience of 250 with a generous set mixing songs from Copernicus with signature tracks and older and newer hits. In an acoustic arrangement assembled exclusively for this occasion, he performed thirteen songs, including Himawari no Yakusoku, Uroko and Raspberry Lover.
The exclusive audience was selected from more than 10,000 applications. All thirteen songs are included in full, including two performances that had not previously been shown. Hata's Green Mind acoustic concert series is held irregularly around Greenery Day on May 4. With this year's album tour underway, Green Mind was not held, and the MTV Unplugged release was scheduled for May, the series' usual month.
The program contains Himawari no Yakusoku, Fast Life, Seinaru Yoru no Okurimono, Joan, Aka ga Shizumu, Aogeba Aozora, Uroko, Hatsukoi, Synchro, Raspberry Lover, 9inch Space Ship, Girl and Ai.
