A tender, bittersweet coming-of-age drama carefully depicting the first love of male students. A quiet high-school boy with no friends falls in love with the king who reigns at the top of his class.

Kazunari Hira, played by Riku Hagiwara, is a third-year high-school student whose stutter prevents him from clearly expressing the words he wants to say. Since childhood he has struggled to fit in and has no friends. Using the camera his parents bought him as a hobby, he photographs ordinary daily life, feeling half resigned about his own future.

At the start of his final school year, classes are rearranged. More nervous than usual, Hira stutters during his introduction and cannot say his own name. At exactly the right moment, his classmate Sou Kiyoi, played by Yusei Yagi, enters, completely changing the atmosphere and accidentally rescuing him. This leads to Hira becoming an errand runner for Kiyoi's group, but surprisingly he does not seem troubled by it: from the moment he first saw Kiyoi, he fell intensely in love.

Meanwhile, Kiyoi, the class's central figure, is pursuing a dream he keeps hidden from his classmates. Hira discovers it, creating a secret shared only by the two of them. Elated by this, Hira becomes unable to understand exactly what his feelings toward the Kiyoi he admires really are. Then an event changes the balance of power within the group, and their relationship takes a sudden turn. A pure, straightforward first love begins to move forward.

The box contains all six episodes across two Blu-rays, with 144 minutes of main footage, plus a bonus DVD. The 101 minutes of extras include episode-one visual commentary by Riku Hagiwara and Yusei Yagi, exclusive to the Blu-ray box and recorded on main disc one, as well as making-of footage, a production-announcement event digest and trailers. A booklet is enclosed. Main-episode subtitles are provided in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. The visual commentary and bonus DVD have no subtitles.

The cast includes Riku Hagiwara, Yusei Yagi, Akira Takano, Yuto Tsubone, Kento Sakurai, Momoka, Aya Marsh, Shuri Nakamura, Wataru Kuriyama and Toshiyuki Someya. Bonus contents and product specifications may change without notice.
