My Happy Marriage Anime

The series has surpassed seven million copies, including comics and digital editions. My Happy Marriage, an unusual Cinderella story woven from love and supernatural abilities, becomes a television anime.

The hit series and its successful live-action film The television anime began broadcasting in July 2023. The original My Happy Marriage novels, written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, have been published under Fujimi L Bunko since 2019. A manga adaptation is also serialized through Gangan Comics ONLINE. With more than seven million copies across the series, including comics and digital editions, the work also became a successful live-action film released in March 2023, starring Ren Meguro of Snow Man and Mio Imada. The setting is a fictional era reminiscent of the Meiji and Taisho periods, where traditional Japanese aesthetics and Western fashions create a romantic atmosphere. Miyo, a girl raised under the abuse of her stepmother and others, meets Kiyoka, an aloof elite soldier. Although awkward at first, they learn to trust and cherish each other and discover the joy of living. This Japanese Cinderella story begins with an arranged marriage and arrived as a television anime in July 2023.

Separate limited edition The publisher also released a strictly limited volume 1 edition with Miyo's Breakfast Set: lacquered chopsticks and a chopstick rest, decorated with maki-e designs inspired by the work. That is a separate product.

First-production extras originally advertised The publisher advertised a newly written novel by original author Akumi Agitogi, an outer case newly illustrated by original illustrator Tsukiho Tsukioka, a digipak newly illustrated by character designer Sachiko Yasuda, and a special booklet including a new illustration by manga artist Rito Kohsaka. Each volume's first-production edition was presented with these substantial extras, alongside a range of video extras included with each release. The independent exact-edition retailer now marks the first-press extras as no longer available. These first-production items are therefore conditional and are not guaranteed with the current regular-edition offer. Retailer-exclusive gifts are also excluded.

Story Is this marriage an invitation to the underworld, or a miracle of good fortune? Miyo was born into a prominent family, but her mother died while she was young, and she grew up mistreated by her stepmother and half-sister. When she is ordered to marry, her prospective husband is Kiyoka, a young soldier reputed to be cold and merciless. His notorious reputation says that none of his many prospective brides stayed even three days before fleeing. Miyo knocks at the Kudo family's door prepared to be cut down. The man who appears before her is beautiful, with pale colouring. Although he treats her harshly at their first meeting, she cannot return to her family home. As she cooks for him day after day, Miyo gradually begins to connect with Kiyoka.
