My Hero Academia Anime

The third theatrical My Hero Academia film, which became the series' biggest hit, comes to Blu-ray. The heroes face the greatest crisis in My Hero Academia history.

Humarise, a mysterious organization seeking to eradicate Quirk users worldwide, has planted Trigger Bombs across multiple countries. These bombs drive Quirks out of control and bring destruction. A team of heroes selected from around the world is formed to save people. Professional heroes from different nations and U.A. High School hero-course students serving internships at hero agencies are called up to recover the bombs.

Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki, who are interning at Endeavor's agency, are operating in Otheon, a country far from Japan. After being caught up in an incident, Deku suddenly becomes a wanted man throughout the country. Together with Rody, a young courier he meets because of the incident, Deku finds himself hunted by the police and a mysterious group of villains as a vast conspiracy unfolds behind the scenes.

A message from Humarise leader Flect Turn reaches the whole world: 'The time limit is two hours from now.' Panic breaks out across nations, and the countdown to global catastrophe advances relentlessly. Facing desperate circumstances, the hero teams risk their lives to recover the bombs. In the greatest crisis the series has faced, the future of the world and its heroes is entrusted to them.

The Plus Ultra edition pairs the main film disc with an ULTRA DISC. The main disc contains the film, teaser trailers, theatrical trailers, television spots and both special promotional videos.

The ULTRA DISC includes the new animated short Departure, adapted from Kohei Horikoshi's original one-shot manga in the Vol. World Heroes booklet distributed to theatrical audiences. It also includes the World Fan Meeting held on July 21, 2021, with Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yuki Kaji, Ryo Yoshizawa, Megumi Hayashibara and Kazuya Nakai; the opening commemorative stage greeting held on August 7, 2021, with Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yuki Kaji and Ryo Yoshizawa; and a release commemorative special program with Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yuki Kaji and Ryo Yoshizawa.

A three-sided case newly illustrated by character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi houses the set. Enclosures include the forty-four-page World Heroes' Mission special booklet, a postcard featuring Kohei Horikoshi's Vol. World Heroes cover illustration, a newly written end-credits novelization booklet and three postcards featuring illustrations Horikoshi posted on Twitter. The novelization consists of short stories newly written by Anri Yoshi based on the end-credit photographs of U.A. Class 1-A, Rody and his younger brother and sister.

The cast includes Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yuki Kaji, Tetsu Inada, Yuichi Nakamura, Kenta Miyake, Ayane Sakura, Toshiki Masuda, Aoi Yuki, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Kei Shindo, Kazuya Nakai, Megumi Hayashibara and Ryo Yoshizawa.
