My Home Hero Animation

Do you think the day will come when you are forgiven? The TV anime My Home Hero, which began broadcasting on TOKYO MX and BS Nippon TV on April 2, 2023, comes to Blu-ray!

Alongside the complete story, bonus material includes creditless opening and ending sequences, promotional videos, audio commentaries and Original Soundtrack Other Tracks, presenting music omitted from the soundtrack album as Blu-ray Audio.

“For forty-seven years, I have lived without ever breaking the criminal law. But starting today, I am a murderer. Ah…” What exactly does someone feel when they kill another person? Tetsuo Tosu, an unremarkable forty-seven-year-old office worker, wonders this as he stands before a corpse slowly simmering away.

Only a few hours earlier, Tetsuo was living an ordinary life with his beloved wife Kasen. Although their rebellious daughter Reika found him annoying, no one wished more earnestly than they did to see her grow up.

One day, Tetsuo visits Reika, who has begun living alone, and discovers bruises on her face that look as though she has been beaten. Even when he questions her, Reika refuses to answer. Making up his mind, Tetsuo sneaks into her home and hides in a closet.

There he sees Nobuto Matori, the gang-affiliated boyfriend who has struck Reika. Nobuto is an extremely dangerous man: he has previously beaten a former girlfriend to death and is working with the yakuza on a certain plan to bring Reika down!

“I have to protect Reika. Even if it brings the worst possible outcome for my wife and me…” For the sake of his beloved family, this ordinary, weak middle-aged man begins a battle against formidable figures from the criminal underworld, staking his life and his wits!

“My daughter, I killed your boyfriend.”
