Nana Maru San Batsu The Quiz Stage O Blu-ray

The third stage adaptation of the competitive-quiz club manga arrives!

Ikura Sugimoto's hit coming-of-age manga Nana Maru San Batsu completed its ten-year serialization in KADOKAWA's Young Ace with a grand finale in the November 2020 issue. Its passionate story about high-school competitive quizzes drew attention as a classic sports-style tale set in a cultural club. Following the 2017 anime adaptation, it was adapted for the stage in 2018 and 2019 with a young cast including Yukito Nishii and Ayane Suzuki of Nogizaka 46.

A collaboration with the popular theater company Europe Kikaku made possible an unscripted, genuine quiz battle whose questions changed with every performance. This format received enthusiastic acclaim in both previous productions. Tomohiro Otoshi of Europe Kikaku once again writes and directs this installment, which presents an original story leading to the manga's final chapter that the original work itself never depicted. Relive the excitement of the stage production that brought participatory cheering performances into theater and closed to a great chorus of support!

The Blu-ray includes the main performance and alternate versions of the genuine quiz battle scenes from the final-day performance and the special performance. The production was performed in January 2021. Product specifications may change without notice.

The cast includes Yukito Nishii, Ayane Suzuki of Nogizaka 46, Ryota Ozawa, Kaito Nakamura, Shojiro Yokoi, Yasuhisa Kato, Hiroki Sana, Nao Yumiki of Nogizaka 46, Motoori Saikyo Satoshi and Yuki Nakanishi, alongside Gota Ishida, Takashi Sumita and Kazunari Tosa of Europe Kikaku, and Hisanori Yoshida of Nippon Broadcasting System.
