Ninja Sentai Kakuranger Part Three: The Middle-Aged Struggle Blu-ray

The original ninja team returns after thirty years! This official sequel follows the events of the television series' first and second parts.

Beginning in February 1994, Ninja Sentai Kakuranger aired as the eighteenth Super Sentai series and remains enduringly popular. Thirty years later, Part Three: The Middle-Aged Struggle made a major impression when it began streaming on Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club in August 2024. Now this proper continuation, which could be called the television series' fifty-fourth episode, arrives for home viewing.

Thirty years ago, five ninjas of the Kakure school sealed away the Great Yokai Demon King, leader of the yokai born from human malice and hatred. The world has since entered the Reiwa era, a digital society shaped by increasingly sophisticated social media. That evolution has given people new forms of malice and hatred...

At Tsuruhime's invitation, Sasuke and his friends gather to celebrate Goro's birthday. As their long-awaited reunion fills with lively conversation, the shadow of a new generation of yokai draws near.

While Saizo and Goro are out shopping, Yuki-Onna suddenly appears and leaves them with ominous words. Elsewhere, Kamaitachi begins attacking friendly yokai. With the human world in danger once again, will the former Kakurangers rise to the challenge?

Making-of footage offers a look behind the reunion.
