Tokyo falls under a devastating attack by the Kyomu organization in September 1992. Nursery teacher Midori Oribe flees the destruction with the children in her care, but wakes after losing consciousness to find them missing. Searching for them, she climbs into the museum’s old Nanatsu mecha, only to discover that its two-seat system requires another pilot.

Ryohei Ogawara joins her and brings Nanatsu to life, but an enemy mecha quickly draws them into battle. Determined to protect those she cares about, Midori becomes part of the fight to reclaim occupied Tokyo. JINKI -Infinity- combines this new story in the JINKI universe with real-time strategy battles, placing giant robots at the center of the resistance.
