Drive the mountain railway between Hakone-Yumoto and Gora through real footage filmed from the driver’s cab. Your three-car train combines an Allegra car with a two-car St. Moritz unit. Negotiate sharp curves, steep gradients and three switchbacks, changing between the two driving cabs while keeping a fully occupied sightseeing service on schedule.
Experience the route in spring cherry-blossom season and autumn colours. Climbing and descending gradients of up to 80 per mille demand careful speed control. Good performances unlock information about the railway and Hakone’s attractions, including the cable car, ropeway and Lake Ashi sightseeing ships, with special footage rewarding your exploration.
