Old Fashion Cupcake Blu-ray

Sagan Sagan's hugely popular boys' love manga becomes a drama: an office romance between a comforting boss approaching forty, played by Kohei Takeda, and his protective subordinate nearing thirty, played by Tatsunari Kimura! Alongside making-of footage, the release includes outtakes and an epilogue available only here.

With forty just around the corner, Nozue spends his uneventful, peaceful days without much enthusiasm. Doing an adequate job is enough, and romance seems like a bother. Without any desire to climb the career ladder, he even turns down a promotion. Yet his colleagues are fond of him and wonder why someone so attractive remains single. One of his subordinates, Togawa, is always watching him.

One day, Nozue visits a client with Togawa. On the way back, he sees high school girls having fun and murmurs that he envies them. Togawa then takes Nozue to a pancake shop. As they eat pancakes, Togawa reveals the feelings he has kept hidden from Nozue. This is the story of the first episode, Pancakes Taste of Regret.

The Blu-ray contains all five episodes and a collection of extras: the epilogue Apple Pie, the completed-production presentation, Making-of Chapter 01 and Chapter 02, outtakes and unreleased footage, and trailers. The presentation and both making-of chapters are the same programs distributed on FOD. A twenty-four-page photo booklet is enclosed.

The cast includes Kohei Takeda, Tatsunari Kimura, Atom Mizuishi, Sarara Saito, Momoka Ayukawa, Shun Bando and Rei Yoshii. Product contents are subject to change without notice.
