Oshi no Ko Animation

The curtain rises on a new stage. Oshi no Ko returns for its second season, continuing the hugely successful story set in the entertainment world.

Originally serialized in Weekly Young Jump, the manga became a major hit, with more than sixteen and a half million copies in circulation as of May 2024. The television anime first broadcast in April 2023 immediately attracted enormous attention, inspiring collaborations and tie-ins. It won the grand prize at the Japan Anime Trend Awards 2023 and the annual award at Net Buzzwords 100, alongside nominations and wins at overseas anime awards, becoming one of the defining titles of that year.

The new story brings back Melt Narushima and introduces Taiki Himekawa, the leading actor of the Lalalai troupe, and Sakuya Kamoshida, a popular performer active mainly in stage adaptations of manga and anime.

Rehearsals have begun for the stage adaptation of the popular manga Tokyo Blade. Surrounded by the actors of the Lalalai theatre troupe, Kana takes a major leap forward. Akane recognizes Kana's talent while burning with intense rivalry.

Among these performers full of talent and enthusiasm, Aqua continues to use even his acting to pursue the truth behind Ai's death. Meanwhile, Ruby follows in her mother's footsteps as an idol.

Supplementary features go behind the scenes of the anime and include an audio commentary, ending footage without credits and web previews. The original first-production edition offered an illustrated digipak, a special case and a special booklet. These limited physical extras depend on remaining first-production stock and are not guaranteed.
