Oshi no Ko Animation

In the entertainment industry, lies are a weapon. Oshi no Ko, the striking collaboration between Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, brings a new perspective on the entertainment world to television animation.

Serialized in Weekly Young Jump, the original manga pairs the creator of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War with the creator of Scum's Wish. The promotional announcement for this release reports more than 12 million copies in circulation. Its television anime adaptation began broadcasting in April 2023.

Goro is an obstetrician and gynecologist working in a provincial city. One day, Ai, his favourite idol from B Komachi, appears before him carrying a forbidden secret. Their disastrous encounter sets fate in motion, drawing Goro into events that will transform his life.

The release includes Oshi no Ko Behind the Scenes footage exploring the making of the anime, audio commentary, a creditless ending and web previews.
