Ossan's Love Thailand Blu-ray Box

Ossan's Love Thailand gives the romantic comedy a Thai reimagining led by Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri and Mix Sahaphap Wongratch. Created jointly by TV Asahi and GMMTV and directed by Kornprom Niyomsil, the series places its familiar workplace love triangle among a new ensemble, including Shahkrit Yamnam, Phudtripart Bhudthonamochai, Ploynira Hiruntaveesin, Thinnaphan Tantui, Nachcha Chuedang, Nattharat Kornkaew and Warinda Damrongphol.

Approaching thirty, real-estate salesman Heng has little success at work or in romance. On his commute, a chance encounter with his boss Kongdech becomes an unsettling discovery when Heng sees his own photograph set as the older man's phone wallpaper. At the same time, his colleague Mo transfers back from the Chiang Mai branch. Their arrival in the same office transforms Heng's unremarkable routine into an increasingly complicated love story.

Earth and Mix bring their established screen partnership to the central relationship, while the adaptation introduces changes of its own, including Kongdech's daughter Cheraim. The twelve-episode series is accompanied by the spin-off Ossan's Love Thailand: The Two of Us, Japan-edition interviews with Earth, Mix and Shahkrit, a separately filmed Earth and Mix interview, trailers, behind-the-scenes footage and recorded cast comments.

The four-disc Blu-ray box presents approximately 663 minutes of the main series and 147 minutes of supplementary material. The original Thai series soundtrack is Linear PCM stereo, with Japanese subtitles. The supplementary disc also contains Thai audio. Some audio noise may be present because of the original source material.
