Otonanajimi Blu-ray

A hopelessly disappointing guy and a motherly girl: a frustratingly heart-fluttering romantic comedy about twenty years of mutual, unrecognized love!

Haru Aoyama and Kaede Kagaya have been childhood friends and neighbors since they were four. Now twenty-four and living on their own, they still occupy neighboring rooms in the same apartment building. Kaede has loved Haru since childhood, but he seems completely oblivious. She fusses over the untidy Haru so much that she has practically become his mother.

Frustrated by their relationship's lack of progress, Kaede consults childhood friends Iori and Mio and declares that she will give up on Haru. Yet even after deciding, she cannot quite let him go. Iori treats her gently as a mature man and reveals that he has liked her since elementary school. Seeing Kaede and Iori grow suddenly close, Haru is shaken. Though slow to notice, he starts recognizing his true feelings but cannot be honest with Kaede, so he confides in Mio. In fact, his pure-heartedness has made him believe he must stubbornly keep a promise he made to Kaede's late mother...
