Our 30-Minute Sessions Regular Edition Blu-ray

The long-awaited Blu-ray release of Our 30-Minute Sessions stars Mackenyu and Takumi Kitamura. It is the story of a new beginning made possible by a farewell: a youthful musical romance in which poignant feelings overlap to create a miracle.

The one who left this world changed ours. There are moments that cannot be replaced. ECHOLL disbanded just before its major debut. A year later, an unfamiliar university student named Sota suddenly appears, urging Yamaken, Shigeta, Mori and Kana to reunite the band. In fact, inside Sota is Aki, the vocalist who died a year earlier. Whenever Sota plays the cassette Aki left behind, the two switch places for thirty minutes and share a single body.

Sota struggles with people, while the optimistic Aki insists there is no door he cannot force open. Sota, who used to make music alone, gradually discovers the pleasure of performing with Aki and his friends. Only Kana, Aki's girlfriend who left ECHOLL, refuses to return. To persuade her to make music again, the two try to create their greatest song. Meanwhile, something strange happens to the cassette, and the time Aki and Sota can exchange grows shorter.

This is a film to listen to. ECHOLL performs six original songs. Led by music producer Takahito Uchisawa of androp, odol, mol-74, Ame no Parade, Ghost Like Girlfriend and Michael Kaneko wrote music perfectly synchronized with the story. The festival scenes, filmed over three days, are a highlight of a fresh yet bittersweet film filled with precious moments.

Kentaro Hagiwara directs a script by Satomi Oshima. The cast includes Mackenyu, Takumi Kitamura, Sayu Kubota, Shono Hayama, Shuhei Uesugi, Sho Kiyohara, Riho Makise and Michitaka Tsutsui. This is the regular single-Blu-ray edition.
