Our Youth comes to Blu-ray.
A hugely popular Korean boys’ love story, which has recorded more than six million four hundred thousand views worldwide, receives a Japanese live-action adaptation.
“I never knew this feeling had a name.”
Jin Minase, an honour student indifferent to other people, goes through school trying to avoid the reckless class troublemaker Haruki Hirukawa.
One day, outside school, Minase happens to see Hirukawa covered in injuries after being beaten by his father. Having unexpectedly learned his secret, Minase tries to keep his distance so that he will not become more deeply involved.
But he cannot forget the sight of Hirukawa, who seemed like a completely different person from the boy he knew at school.
As the two discover sides of one another they could never see in class, feelings neither has experienced before gradually begin to emerge.
The release includes an original photobook and a reversible Water Sound jacket. Making-of footage offers a further look behind the drama.
