Piko explores the theme of death on Hitsugi, his fourth original album and first in approximately four years. Released after his fifteenth anniversary, the six-track record links its original songs, covers and artwork around that central concept.
Sekihan reunites with Piko in their dual-range vocal unit Akapiko Hanma for an original song written specifically for this album. Sokyu ni Tomurau, Countdown, Kurage no Yurei and Poltergeist lead into Aka no Hitsugi and Ikite te Yokatta!.
