Toward the future—the branch—you have chosen

Shiromitsugawa City has no distinguishing feature beyond being an academic town.

Its efforts to revitalize the town and attract tourists have all failed. Yet it comes to draw the world's attention in an unexpected way.

Kakeru Niimi is a dependable young man who tends to be blunt, but has a strong sense of responsibility and the initiative to act.

Whatever he might say, his kind nature leads him to put the people around him first.

He has been living the peaceful life of an ordinary student, but his everyday world changes when the sacred relic at Hakuda Tsukumo Shrine is damaged.

Behind these changes are boys and girls who have awakened to extraordinary powers.

He was supposed to be an unremarkable, ordinary student living in a town with nothing special about it.

Yet he becomes caught up in the strange twists of fate brought about by those with supernatural abilities...

Miyako Kujo

A second-year student at Hakusen Academy, Miyako is the daughter of a globally renowned company's family and a refined, lovely girl.

She is generally dependable, though occasionally a little absent-minded, and is popular with both boys and girls.

Although she is what people would call a rich young lady, her attitude toward money is extremely down-to-earth.

She greatly trusts Kakeru, who can think differently from her own honor-student outlook, and occasionally shows him a mischievous side.

She works part-time at the cafe run by her grandfather to gain experience of society.

After obtaining a mysterious accessory known as an Artifact, she awakens to a supernatural ability and sets out to solve the incidents, guided by her naturally strong sense of justice.

Sora Niimi

A first-year student at Hakusen Academy, Sora is Kakeru's innocent, carefree younger sister. Her sociable personality lets her quickly make friends with anyone.

She freely lets herself into the home of her older brother, who lives alone, and does as she pleases, eating snacks and playing games.

Although she always seems cheerful, she is actually bad with frightening things.

She obtains a mysterious accessory, an Artifact, and helps her brother and Miyako simply because it seems interesting.

Haruka Kosaka

A third-year student at Hakusen Academy and Kakeru's senior, Haruka has two sides: a timid, quiet personality and a bold, fearless personality like a queen.

She is always alone at school, though her classmates do not dislike her. They regard her as a strange girl who says little.

In fact, she has considerable enthusiast interests. Her collection covers a wide range of manga, from girls' comics to manga for adult men, and she owns every manga that Kakeru has.

Noa Yuki

A second-year student at Kuho Girls' Academy, Noa loves parfaits and has a stronger sense of justice than anyone.

She founded and leads the Valhalla Society, and has counted Kakeru and his friends among its members without asking them.
