AKIBA'S TRIP returns with Kati's story

AKIBA'S TRIP 2 returns with the Kati scenario. The story left untold in the summer of 2013 reaches its true conclusion in this definitive version of the series' unusual clothing-removal action.

Story

Lured by a fraudulent part-time job offer, the protagonist becomes a subject of human experimentation by a mysterious organization and is transformed into an artificial vampire, a Synthister.

After the experiment, the organization is about to dispose of him when a girl saves him from danger. Her name is Shizuku Tokikaze.

She belongs to the Yagami vampire clan, a higher order of beings than the artificial Synthisters. She says her goal is to uncover the truth behind the Synthister incidents taking place in Akihabara.

The protagonist introduces Shizuku, who saved his life, to his friends in the neighborhood watch, and they accept her as one of their own.

Why is the mysterious organization kidnapping people and creating more artificial vampires? The story of the struggle against the Synthisters infesting Akihabara and the organization behind them begins.

What is AKIBA'S TRIP?

Unbelievable battles unfold in Akihabara, the town of hobbies. To defeat enemies vulnerable to sunlight, combatants must fight with their clothing at stake.

This distinctive action-adventure series debuted on PSP in 2011. Supported by many fans, it received a commemorative remaster for its tenth anniversary.

Introduced with cumulative worldwide sales exceeding 880,000 copies, this hit series continues to attract attention and anticipation.

Explore Akihabara

Battle enemies hidden around a realistic recreation of Akihabara.

All kinds of people inhabit the town. You can talk and shop, people may start fights on their own, and deadly battles against enemies can break out. Its realistic play offers a high degree of freedom.

Clothing-removal combat

The series' familiar, improbable battles return. Defeat sunlight-vulnerable vampires by removing their clothes, in an unusual, fresh and exhilarating action system.

The outfits you obtain have ability values. Equip the protagonist and heroines with different clothing before taking on powerful enemies.

A distinctive cast

The protagonist visits Akihabara and becomes surrounded by the people of the district.

They include the neighborhood watch that protects Akihabara, vampires lurking in a town that is easy to hide in, a mysterious organization plotting a conspiracy and a famous underground idol.

As Akihabara faces a crisis, this cast brings a substantial human drama to life.

Multiple endings

The protagonist becomes involved in various incidents around Akihabara, and there are many ways to resolve them.

Who will you work with, and how will you solve each problem? The story changes dramatically according to your approach, leading to multiple endings.

What makes the Director's Cut different?

AKIBA'S TRIP 2 originally released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2013. Its Director's Cut revival, also brought to Nintendo Switch, maintains the atmosphere of that era's Akihabara overflowing with otaku culture while refining the game throughout.

Additional features unique to the Director's Cut make the game accessible to an even wider audience.

The additional Kati route

This is the route scenario for heroine Kati Raikkonen that could not be fully incorporated into the original AKIBA'S TRIP 2, revealing a new ending that leads onward into the future.

Reconstructed from the original plot, the Kati route leads the story to its true conclusion. A newly written scenario and newly recorded voices expand its story world.

All existing DLC is integrated

The DLC costumes and equipment created in collaboration with various media outlets and manufacturers after the original release of AKIBA'S TRIP 2 are all integrated into this edition.

Explore Akihabara in the distinctive appearances made possible by these collaboration costumes and equipment.
