360-degree action in every direction

Fight with jumps, punches and dashes to rescue your friends. Travel through a variety of stages to help your fellow BOTs, who have become lost. Find all of the more than 200 BOTs calling for help. Enemies suddenly appear along the way to block your path: defeat them with jumps, punches and hovering moves while collecting coins and items.

There are places ASTRO cannot pass on his own. When that happens, support him with controller gadgets such as a hook shot, shuriken and a water gun.

A VR adventure from ASOBI Team

This single-player adventure was developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment JAPAN Studio's ASOBI Team, which continually pursues unique ideas and knows the capabilities of PS VR inside out. The experience is packed with action and a variety of interactions made possible by VR.

Meet ASTRO and rescue his companions

Your partner is the hero ASTRO. Jump, punch and dash into battle to save his friends. He journeys across many stages to rescue his fellow BOTs who have become lost. There are more than 250 BOTs: they need your help, so find them all.

Enemies suddenly appear during each stage to obstruct your progress. Defeat them by jumping, punching and hovering, and advance while collecting coins and items. When ASTRO cannot proceed alone, you can help using controller gadgets including a hook shot, shuriken and a water gun.

Five planets and a wealth of different stages

Clear 20 varied stages together with ASTRO. Explore city rooftops, sandy beaches, dark caves, lush forests, the belly of an enormous whale and volcanoes.

Enormous bosses with the impact of a VR perspective

A host of gigantic, distinctive bosses attack ASTRO and the player in different ways. Work out each attack pattern and defeat them together. Seen from your PS VR viewpoint, these bosses are immense and full of impact. Experience the presence and immersion unique to VR.

Required equipment

PlayStation VR, PlayStation Camera and a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller are required to play.
