The definitive DX editions of the Secret series add numerous new elements, including new stories and playable characters, to each title from Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout through Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.

These substantial editions feature new elements that deepen the experience and a large selection of additional content released for the original games.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX

Agatha, Kilo and Romy join as three new playable characters, with newly drawn character portraits by Toridamono.

Agatha Harmon

Agatha, voiced by Masumi Asano, leads the Guardians who protect Rasenboden village. Her swordsmanship is unmatched among the Guardians. Fair and impartial, she values discipline without being cold and is widely respected in the village.

Kilo Shiness

Kilo, voiced by Shiori Mikami, is a woman known as a spirit user, with a somewhat fragile air about her. She continues fighting alone to protect what is precious to her. Ryza and her friends meet her in an unexpected place.

Romy Vogel

Romy, voiced by Yuki Nagaku, travels from place to place as a merchant. She is a familiar face who frequently visits Ryza's village. She has the drive to rush anywhere a business opportunity appears. Although she can be something of an opportunist, she also has a surprisingly dependable side.

New stories and features

Yashichiro Takahashi has written the additional stories Kilo & Bos — Their Meeting and After Ryza 1 — What Happened After That Summer.

A free-battle mode is also among the new features.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX

Empel and Lila, who appeared in the first Atelier Ryza, join as two new playable characters, with newly drawn character portraits by Toridamono.

Empel Vollmer

Empel, voiced by Hirofumi Nojima, taught Ryza alchemy three years earlier. He continues traveling with Lila, just as before. While exploring ruins around the royal capital, he reunites with Ryza and her friends. He still cannot resist sweet treats.

Lila Decyrus

Lila, voiced by Haruka Terui, continues traveling with Empel. With her mysterious appearance and exceptional combat skills, she once taught Ryza and her friends the fundamentals of fighting. Calm and composed, she is straightforward and blunt in both personality and speech.

A new gate, map and support

Yashichiro Takahashi has written a new side story, Empel & Lila — A New Gate, following the pair as they continue traveling in search of gates to the Underworld.

An additional map lets you explore a cave and ruins.

Fi follows Ryza while traveling around the field map and supports your adventure. A free-battle mode is also included among the new features.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX

Clifford, Serri and Kilo from the first two Atelier Ryza games join as three new playable characters, with newly drawn character portraits by Toridamono.

Clifford Diswell

Clifford, voiced by Eiji Takemoto, is a treasure hunter who once traveled with Ryza. His theatrical, affected behavior stands out, but this cheerful young man is serious at heart and also has a sincere side. He continues adventuring somewhere in search of romance and treasure.

Serri Glaus

Serri, voiced by Yukiyo Fujii, is a woman on a mission to protect her homeland's forests and natural environment. Gentle in personality, she rarely reveals her emotions to anyone. She accompanied Ryza and her friends while searching for a special plant and continues traveling after parting from them.

Kilo Shiness

Voiced by Shiori Mikami, this is Kilo several years after meeting Ryza and her companions. She still fights to protect what is precious to her. For a certain purpose, she must leave the land where she lives.

New stories, events and exploration

Yashichiro Takahashi has written the additional story Clifford & Serri — In Search of Their Own Treasures.

A new event, Kilo and Bos, is also added.

An additional map lets you explore an island and ruins.

Other new features include a free-battle mode and Wind Beasts to assist your exploration.

Many new elements deepen the game experience.

The new free-battle mode lets you freely configure monsters and their actions and enjoy the battle sequences.

A large selection of additional content released for the original versions is included, featuring swimsuit costumes, additional maps, background music and much more.

The Premium Box originally included three standard-edition game packages: Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX, and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX.

It also originally included Ryza's Adventure Notebook, a variety book; a Recollection CD; a B3 fabric poster with a newly drawn illustration; and Ryza ASMR.
