BAR Stella Abyss is a roguelike strategy RPG in which you strengthen characters with the power of constellations while exploring otherworldly dungeons that change with each playthrough. Story

Stella Abyss is a quiet, secluded bar tucked away in a corner of the city.

Exhausted by everyday life, the protagonist follows a flyer dancing on the breeze and opens its door.

“You seem terribly tired. Shall I make you something straight away?”

Taking the bartender's recommendation, the protagonist orders a cocktail, becomes drunk and falls asleep.

The pleasant slumber lasts only a moment. Awakened by an unfamiliar voice, the protagonist finds a strange creature floating in the air and a fantastic landscape filled with blooming flowers.

This is the World of Yoi—a dream seen by those who fall asleep after drinking.

Robbed of their face and an arm, the protagonist has become trapped in this dream world.

Explore dungeons in a dream world

To recover the missing face and arm, the protagonist travels through dungeons in the World of Yoi, reached after drinking to the point of collapse.

Facilities useful for exploration are scattered throughout the dungeons, including observatories where you can obtain enhancement skills and shops where you can buy items. Which facilities you visit on your way forward is up to you.

If you fall in a dungeon, you lose every item except your equipment, and your level returns to its initial state. A single decision can determine the fate of your expedition.

Strengthen characters with constellations

Touch a monster roaming a dungeon to move to a grid-based battle map. Combat follows a turn-based tactical RPG system. Choose your actions carefully, considering enemy matchups, relative positions and terrain effects.

While exploring, you may obtain the power of constellations, called Stella. Set Stella into a character's techniques to enhance their performance: expand attack ranges, increase power or add elemental attributes.
