A battle across time in a world ruled by magic

In a world where magic is everything, the Wizard King and nine squads of Magic Knights govern the kingdom. A battle across time and space by these knights is about to begin.

Asta is the only boy in this world who cannot use magic. Despite his circumstances, he strives with the companions he meets to overcome many hardships and become the Wizard King, the pinnacle of all mages.

He obtains a black, five-leaf grimoire said to harbor a devil. With its anti-magic power to nullify magic, he pursues his dream alongside his friends.

Asta's rival Yuno, a prodigiously talented mage, and Noelle, a royal girl who struggles to control her magic, are among the distinctive characters who weave this epic tale.

An original story beyond time and space

Enjoy an original story mode depicting events outside the main Black Clover story serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, with original animation created for the game.

Yami Sukehiro, captain of the Black Bulls, the squad to which Asta belongs, suddenly becomes young again. At the same time, a mysterious mage attacks the Clover Kingdom, confronting Asta and his companions with a series of hardships.

This is a story of a fateful connection from the past. A battle of knights across time and beyond their limits raises its curtain.

Four-on-four magical team battles

Choose from a variety of mages and fight alongside your companions in four-on-four team battle action. Wield distinctive magic encompassing wind, water, lightning, anti-magic, dark magic and many other attributes.

Every mage's abilities have different characteristics. Understanding those individual qualities is an essential part of battle strategy.

Coordination is vital. Overwhelm your enemies with the Linked Magic system by timing your magic together with your teammates.

Battle on a wide variety of maps. Understanding their differences in elevation, obstacles and other distinctive features, and maneuvering strategically around them, has a major effect on whether your team wins or loses.

Four roles hold the key to victory

Each character belongs to one of four roles: Fighter, Shooter, Support or Healer. Understand your role and the magic at your disposal, and coordinate with your team to achieve victory.

Fighters lead the team's offense. Many of their spells aim to deal heavy damage at close range, including thrusting attacks that drive into an opponent and rapid short-range shots.

Shooters specialize in long-range ranged combat. Use high ground and cover to secure the right position and support attacks against your opponents.

Support characters aid their team with magic such as deployable defenses, abilities that strengthen allies or weaken enemies, and other beneficial effects.

Healers specialize in recovery magic. Protect allies with a variety of healing methods, including deployable recovery magic and spells that restore nearby teammates.

Magic battles under different rules

Area Battle pits teams against one another to claim areas where magic rings appear. Unite your team's efforts to control the magic-ring areas placed around the map.

Treasure Hunt challenges you to obtain a Magic Key that appears randomly on the map and battle the opposing team as you open a treasure chest. Work with your teammates to claim the chest and victory while blocking enemy advances.

Crystal Carry tasks teams with moving a massive crystal across the map, competing to reach their destination first. Break through the opposing side's attacks and defenses, and win the struggle around the crystal.
