Extreme fighting entertainment

The Dead or Alive series evolves into intense fighting entertainment with its first new numbered installment in seven years.

The latest entry in the three-dimensional fighting action series begins a new chapter as the giant conglomerate DOATEC announces the sixth Dead or Alive tournament. Familiar fighters including Kasumi, Ayane, Ryu Hayabusa and Hayate join newcomers such as Diego in a further unfolding story of combat.

An evil scheme begins to move

Since the incident that an evil plot brought upon her village, Kasumi, a kunoichi of the Mugen Tenshin style, has lived quietly in a secluded mountain retreat as a runaway ninja who abandoned her village.

Meanwhile, Helena Douglas, president of the reborn DOATEC, is shaken by a sudden incident involving someone with mysterious abilities.

And alone, someone known as a genius smiles at the sinister light emanating from an aura.

Behind a moment of peace, an evil scheme begins to move. Days long past are about to be unjustly unearthed by naked ambition.

Hesitation seeps into Kasumi's brush as she writes a letter to her mother.

“It is not over yet.”

Facial animation expresses emotion more richly. Skin and sweat textures heighten the sense of presence, while natural, realistic body movement gives the fighters greater expressive depth.

The familiar combat triangle and the new Break Gauge

The series' familiar interplay between strikes, throws and holds is joined by the new Break Gauge system. It is easier to get started, while the depth of strategy increases.

Build up the Break Gauge and unleash a powerful special technique with a single command. Break Blow deflects an opponent's strike while delivering heavy damage; Break Hold counters strikes of all types and turns the tables on your opponent.

Break Blow dramatically sends an opponent flying, giving everyone from beginners to advanced players the exhilarating feeling of landing a powerful special attack.

Fatal Rush

The new Fatal Rush system uses a dedicated button. Repeated presses let you perform an impressive combo.

Beginners can easily enjoy stylish sequences of attacks, while advanced players gain new possibilities in competitive play.
