Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Aniplex

Destroy demons with the power of forged bonds!

The long-awaited sequel to Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, the demon-slaying battle action game based on the anime, is here.

Following the previous game, the single-player Story Mode lets you experience the journey of Demon Slayer Corps member Tanjiro Kamado through the game. VS Mode offers a wide selection of characters, including all nine Hashira, for battles against other players online and offline.

Experience three arcs from the anime

This game includes the stories of the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc and Hashira Training Arc from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba television anime. Follow Tanjiro Kamado's journey, including fierce battles against the Upper Rank demons.

A mode tracing the Demon Slayer's path also lets you revisit the stories covered in the previous game, the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc and Mugen Train Arc, through battles.

The Hashira assemble in VS Mode

Choose your favorite fighter from more than 40 characters. The roster includes all nine Hashira, the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, Upper Rank demons such as Gyokko and Zohakuten, and characters from the previous game.

Enjoy dream battles that can only be experienced in the game.

Master Dual Ultimates and Gear

The accessible controls still let you enjoy beautiful techniques and spectacular animations at the press of a button, with new elements added to the action.

Dual Ultimates activate with specific character pairings. Strike with a powerful blow accompanied by impressive animation, dealing more damage than a normal Ultimate Art.

Gear provides power-ups when you meet particular conditions during a battle. Different pieces offer different effects, so find a combination that suits you.

Master these new elements as you compete online and offline.

Save-data linking

Existing save data from Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles on the same platform enables early access to Academy Tanjiro, Academy Nezuko, Academy Zenitsu, Academy Inosuke, Academy Giyu and Academy Shinobu in VS Mode.

Save data from Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! on the same platform enables early access to Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma, together with their Kimono (Meal Prep) battle attire. These character unlocks make the specified characters playable from the start in VS Mode, where the battle attire can also be used.

Online play and upgrade compatibility

Playing VS Mode online requires a paid subscription to the platform's online service and the latest game update.

The PS4 physical edition can be upgraded to the PS5 version at no additional cost. This requires a PS5 with a disc drive; the disc-free PS5 Digital Edition cannot use the physical edition upgrade. Existing PS4 save data can be transferred when first launching the PS5 version.
