Densha de GO!!, the arcade game operating to acclaim in game centres across Japan, finally comes to PlayStation 4.

Become a driver and complete a circuit of the Yamanote Line, which has attracted renewed attention following the addition of Takanawa Gateway Station.

Enjoy the finest driving experience at home while preserving the arcade version's faithful recreation. Alongside the arcade elements, a variety of modes expand the ways you can play.

A variety of modes

Experience different modes, including Driver's Path, in which you advance through chapters towards the ending, GO at Home mode, and VR mode.

The VR mode is supported in the PlayStation 4 version. Only part of this game uses VR; PlayStation VR is required for the VR mode.

Takanawa Gateway Station

Takanawa Gateway Station, which opened in March 2020, is faithfully recreated in the game.

Drive routes beyond the Yamanote Line

You can also drive routes and vehicles that were absent from the arcade version, including the Saikyo Line and Narita Express.

Detailed graphics and changing conditions

Densha de GO!! Hashirou Yamanote-sen is created by Visual Works, the division at the heart of Square Enix's high-quality visual content production.

The game recreates all 30 Yamanote Line stations and the realistic streets along the route. It also offers several variations in time of day and weather.

Some missions set the time and weather conditions. In free driving, you can choose the weather and time freely before setting off.

Complete a circuit of the Yamanote Line

This game's setting is the Yamanote Line. It recreates a complete circuit in the inner-loop direction.

Takanawa Gateway, the line's first new station in 49 years, naturally appears. At the time of the original introduction, roughly six months had passed since its March 2020 opening, and many people had yet to visit. Become a driver in this game and visit it for yourself.

Choose trains and routes

Although set on the modern Yamanote Line, the game includes four types of Yamanote Line train. Some vehicles may already feel nostalgic.

Running trains from different eras through modern streets is a pleasure made possible by a game.

Parallel routes and their trains are also included: the Saikyo Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Ueno-Tokyo Line and Narita Express. Drive these trains through the sections where their routes run alongside the Yamanote Line.

The Sobu Line, popular in the arcade game, is also included between Ichigaya and Akihabara.
