Overlords assemble: a story of revenge and rebellion

The Disgaea series is an outrageous dramatic fantasy depicting the achievements and adventures of many characters in Netherworlds where demons compete fiercely. Throughout the series, Overlords, demons, angels and heroes have fought one another in pursuit of their own ambitions and goals.

The fifth instalment tells a story of revenge and rebellion. Across countless Netherworlds, the Overlords who rule them assemble to confront a powerful enemy.

The Disgaea series arrives on PlayStation 4 with the theme of a great Netherworld war. To reclaim their homelands and companions from the most formidable Demon Emperor in history, whose rule extends across the universe, a colourful cast of Overlords rises in revolt. Set in a universe containing innumerable Netherworlds, this tactical simulation RPG presents the series' greatest scale to date.

The familiar outrageous gameplay of Disgaea returns in Disgaea 5, including damage exceeding one hundred million and levels reaching 9999. The deep, demanding progression and replay possibilities are here too.

New features include a scenario with an unprecedented amount of content for the series and an even more developed, virtually endless character growth system, making this an appealing release for Disgaea fans. New stories and characters, together with extensive tutorials and help features, also allow newcomers to enjoy the game.
