Dragon Quest Square Enix

A Dragon Quest unlike anything you have seen begins.

This collaboration brings together the long-established Dragon Quest RPG series and Omega Force, the Koei Tecmo Games team behind the Warriors and Toukiden series. Anyone can enjoy its accessible, exhilarating action. Familiar characters, monsters and music beloved by series fans appear alongside the storytelling and character progression distinctive to Dragon Quest.

Crossing the boundaries between action-game fans and Dragon Quest fans, this new Dragon Quest experience is presented to everyone who enjoys games.

Story

Arba was a peaceful kingdom where humans and monsters lived together. One day, however, the monsters suddenly changed. Having lost their hearts, they surged forward in enormous armies. The protagonists Luceus and Aurora, captains of the kingdom's guard, take up their swords with their companions to restore the monsters' hearts.

Choose your protagonist

Select Luceus or Aurora as the protagonist and enjoy the story from either the male or female hero's perspective.

Accessible controls and exhilarating action

Even players who are less confident with action games can enjoy the battles. A control feature lets you unleash varied actions with a single button.

Develop your characters as the story unfolds

Enjoy an original story while strengthening and levelling up your characters through experience points and equipment, as in previous Dragon Quest games. Characters from earlier entries join the story alongside its original heroes, and you can switch the character you control as you play.
