The original Dragon Quest X All-in-One Package, Versions 1–5

Dragon Quest X connects to the internet so that players throughout Japan can enjoy grand adventures together in a single world.

This edition was originally presented as a value package combining five titles: the series' first online-only game, Dragon Quest X: Awakening of the Five Tribes Online, and its expansion packages The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally; Lore of the Ancient Dragon; A 5,000-Year Journey to a Distant Homeland; and The Maiden of Thorns and the God of Destruction.

About Dragon Quest X Online

The service began in August 2012 as the Dragon Quest series' first online-only game, becoming one of Japan's largest MMORPGs.

It celebrated its seventh anniversary in August 2019. In October of that year, the latest expansion at the time, The Maiden of Thorns and the God of Destruction Online, was released.

The game supported a wide range of systems, and in 2020 it also became playable through HTML5-compatible browsers.

Regular updates add all kinds of content, creating a Dragon Quest adventure that does not end.

Accounts and platforms

Dragon Quest X Online is offered across several platforms. You can use the same account and the same characters on each supported platform.

Online access for this Used physical edition

No digital game license, free trial entitlement, purchase reward or subscription is supplied with this Used physical edition.

Online play requires your own valid PlayStation 4 game-access rights, the required game data and an active usage ticket. The publisher confirms that platform-access rights are stored on the account and cannot be transferred to another account.

Internet connection and usage fees

A broadband internet connection is required. Internet connection and communication charges are the player's responsibility.

To play, you must purchase a usage ticket for the period you wish to use the service. The usage fee is the amount paid when purchasing that ticket.

Separate usage tickets are required for the PlayStation 4 version and for versions on other systems. Consult the official site for details of the applicable fees and requirements.

Kids Time as described when this edition was released

The 2020 product description also introduced Kids Time, during which players could play without purchasing a usage ticket: Monday through Friday, including public holidays, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The publisher noted that the days and hours could change. These are the release-era hours; consult the official service information for any current availability.

A notice appears in the game shortly before Kids Time ends. When it ends, players without a usage ticket have their adventure automatically saved before the game session finishes.

Although no specific age restriction was planned for Kids Time, the publisher asked players to understand that this service was intended for children.
