Fate Koei Tecmo Games

Your wish shall perish

A Holy Grail War races through Edo. A new Fate begins, brought to life by TYPE-MOON and Koei Tecmo Games.

Story

Edo, the fourth year of the Keian era.

Decades have already passed since the end of the bloody age of war, and the people spend their days enjoying peace.

Yet, behind the scenes and unknown to the public, a struggle to the death between seven people and seven Heroic Spirits begins: the Waxing Moon Ritual.

It draws Miyamoto Iori, a young man living in Asakusa, into its turmoil—

An entirely new Fate action RPG set in the Edo period

Supervised by TYPE-MOON, this new action RPG depicts the Waxing Moon Ritual: seven Masters, each accompanied by one of seven immensely powerful Servants, Heroic Spirits from history, fight until only one pair remains.

Their goal is the Waxing Moon Vessel, a wish-granting device said to fulfil any desire.

The battles unfolding in Edo are portrayed in depth through the eyes of Miyamoto Iori, a swordsman trained in Niten Ichiryu, and Saber, the mysterious Servant who suddenly appears before him.

Explore Edo alongside your Servant

Characters drawn with a distinctly Japanese flavour come to life in Edo, where row houses, samurai residences and pleasure quarters line the streets and crowds of people pass by.

Follow stories related to the Waxing Moon Ritual as they unfold in different locations. Interact with a variety of characters and animals, explore the town and take on diverse requests.

Masters and Servants fight together

Control the Master Miyamoto Iori, a swordsman trained in Niten Ichiryu, and fight alongside Saber, a Servant with strength beyond that of humans.

When facing powerful enemies beyond a human's abilities, you can call on your Servant's help through various actions based on your contract, give commands to unleash powerful techniques or take direct control of the Servant to confront them.

The spectacular battle scenes between Servants are also a must-see.

Miyamoto Iori — voiced by Kengo Kawanishi

The adopted son and disciple of the great swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, Iori is a ronin living in Asakusa, Edo.

Although he is an accomplished swordsman trained in Niten Ichiryu, Musashi died before passing on the style's secrets.

Still seeking the Way of the sword that he has yet to master, he spends his days training while earning his daily living.

Saber — voiced by Hibiku Yamamura

A Servant of the Saber class who wears old-fashioned clothing and wields a wavy sword.

Saber suddenly appeared before Iori and saved him from danger, but dismisses him as weak and openly declares an intention to fight the Waxing Moon Ritual alone.

Saber seems intensely interested in the peaceful streets of Edo.

Takao Dayu — voiced by Ami Koshimizu

A courtesan at Miura-ya, an establishment in Yoshiwara.

Renowned as one of Edo's most beautiful women, she is said to continually captivate countless men, including feudal lords.

Dayu is the highest rank of courtesan, and she is celebrated as one of the three great Dayu.

Berserker — voiced by Ayane Sakura

A Servant of the Berserker class. Her true name is Shinmen Musashi no Kami Fujiwara no Harunobu, also known as Miyamoto Musashi.

Miyamoto Iori's teacher, founder of Niten Ichiryu and an unrivalled master swordswoman.

Yet her appearance seems a little—no, considerably—different from that of the teacher Iori knew.
